We started in the Ironbound, one of the main arteries of Newark’s culinary heart, and have since traveled far beyond, exploring dishes from all over the world. Too often, our city’s vibrant food scene goes unnoticed, overshadowed by our neighbor to the east or reduced to a handful of clichés driven by Newark’s crime stats. Brick City Bite is here to change that narrative. We celebrate the chefs, cooks, restaurants, and communities that make Newark the best food city in New Jersey.
